OPEN POSITIONS:

The Town of Red River will be accepting applications for emergency hire positions for the following:   FIRE DEPARTMENT WILDLAND TEAM MEMBER. The Town will be taking applications until Friday, March 22, 2024.  Preferred qualifications are: High School Diploma or G.E.D., experience as a wildland firefighter preferred but not required.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Application and job description may be obtained in the Office of the Municipal Clerk at Town Hall, P.O. The Town of Red River will be accepting applications until the position is filled for the PART-TIME Position within the Fire Department.  Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent and no conviction of felony or crime involving moral turpitude.  Beginning salary is commensurate with experience.  

The Town of Red River will be accepting applications until the position is filled for Ambulance lead attendant within the Fire Department. This is an entry-level position under the direct supervision of the EMS Division Director. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Minimum requirements New Mexico Intermediate or Paramedic license. No conviction of felony or crime involving moral turpitude. Beginning salary is commensurate with experience. The Town of Red River will be accepting applications until the position is filled for Emergency Vehicle Operator within the Fire Department. This is an entry-level position under the direct supervision of the EMS Division Director. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Minimum requirements High school Diploma, New Mexico Driver’s license, currently hold or is able to pass a DOT Physical, a current EMT basic license is preferred but not required.
